Let's Get Moving!
Walking together is more than just exercise—it’s a chance to connect and share. THE REAL Walks are community-driven gatherings that combine the physical benefits of walking with the emotional power of peer-to-peer support. Designed to foster open conversations in a supportive environment, these walks help reduce loneliness, build connections, and encourage honest dialogue about mental health.
Research from the American Journal of Psychiatry shows that even 30 minutes of moderate physical activity, such as walking, can reduce symptoms of depression by up to 26%. Walking in a group has added benefits, creating opportunities for connection and reducing feelings of isolation (British Journal of Sports Medicine).
